Electrical
Safety
Hep2O®
does not conduct electricity therefore the risk of electric shock
from contact with a Hep2O®
installation is eliminated. The practice of utilising the metal pipework
system for earthing was discontinued in 1966. However, when Hep2O®
forms a break in the continuity of existing metal pipework which may
have been used for earthing or bonding, then the electrical continuity
should be reinstated by fixing the bonding lead permanently to both
ends of the existing metal pipework. |
| Remember:
Equipotential Bonding A Hep2O®
installation requires no more and in many cases needs less equipotential
bonding than metal pipework. |
